I am alive!
Not that you all were worried.
So here I am, in the big city, hardly knitting at all. Would you believe that my Debbie Bliss silk is just sitting here, collecting dust?? It's a crying shame.
I did get a chance to meet the very nice and very hip Spiders on Friday at the Point and hope to get back some time when I'm actually knitting.
Dina may have inspired me with this photo from a yarn shop in LA. What do you think? Can you see me wearing this on the streets of New York?

Oooh yeah, you are back, your internet is working, and you sound like your normal self. Looking forward to reading more in a month or so when you post again. ;-)
good lord, woman. are you tryin' to compete with cher? i think the crotch needs to be more see-thru. thaosky
on the streets of New York, no one would notice. Now, in Boston it would be a different story.
Good to see you on the internet.

Oh yeah--it's totally you. I hope that you students will love it.
Well that's one way to augment your income.... I think it goes with thigh high boots. You might want to pick a a bar your students don't go to when you try it out, though. Cuts down on the credibility!
Glad to hear you've landed and are getting settled.
ummm, are the spiders cooler than say...the knitsmiths? hint: the answer better be NO! we miss you kiddo. I'm in NYC today and it's raining...I'm not sure if I'll still be there this afternoon when you get out of work but send me an email with your cell phone number just in case
sorry i wasn't there to meet you last friday! hopefully you can make it next friday when we're back at the point, and you'll be knitting, of course ;)
That outfit is hilarious! I miss you Shireen!
Certainly not in Boston, but MAYBE in NYC, right?
